In America, obesity has hit an all time high which is attributed to poor and unhealthy eating habits combined with very low activity.  Over 65% of the population is either overweight or obese, which means they are at an increased risk for weight related health problems such as: gall stones and gall bladder surgery, carpal tunnel syndrome, hernia, headaches, sleep disorders, darkening of the skin on the neck and face, ulcers in the legs, high blood pressure, heart attack, heart failure, stroke, high cholesterol, diabetes, osteoarthritis, fatty liver, chronic kidney failure, restrictive lung disease, cancer, depression, low self esteem, chronic fatigue, and premature death!

The HCG is a hormone is made by the placenta and embryo during pregnancy. HCG must be prescribed by a licensed medical doctor/physician.  There are actually 3 forms of hCG available.  These are:  hCG Injections, Oral hCG, and hCG Transdermal Gel.

What is Oral hcg?  It is a Sublingual (oral) hCG that is administered through droplets which are placed under the tongue. Oral hCG has been proven to be effective.  However, the typical dosage used for injections must be taken sublingually twice per day rather then once per day for injection hcg. It should be noted that swallowing an oral hCG mixture is not effective at all. Therefore, oral hCG must be taken sublingualy-under the tongue and is the only effective way of administering hCG orally.

There are recipes posted online in forums and blogs by those that have developed their own way to mix the hCG powder to produce a sublingual oral hCG forumla.  These recipes show how someone can mix their own oral form of hCG by following one of the recipes.

Currently, a popular oral application that has a patent pending formula is called "Releana". The makers of Releana originally utilized hCG injections for several years before developing an alternative to one needing to receive hCG through straight injection.

While using oral hCG, or Rleana, in conjunction with Dr. ATW Simeons' original "hCG Diet Protocol" and his proscribed very low calorie diet (VLCD) which is comprised of specific foods that you would like i.e. beef, chicken, fruit, vegetables, etc. has found that hCG dieters typicaly lose 15 pounds of abnormal fat within the first month. Somtimes even more!!
In addition, you are not only losing pounds but also inches of unwanted abnormal fat.

According to Dr Simeons' book, "Pounds and Inches," the protocol is protein preserving. In other words, if one follows the protocol precisely it makes your body "burn" the abnormal fat, all the while preserving muscle, normal fat, and structural fat.

HCG is not FDA approved for the treatment of weight control or obesity. However, it is a prescription medication which is FDA approved for certain uses.  Using hCG in dieting is considered an "off-label" use. This means that medications are frequently used off-label to treat conditions that are unrelated to their original indication, but safely and effectively. For example, a very popular asprin has been advocating it's "off-label" use to possibly help prevent heart attacks if you ingest one pill a day.

If one follows Dr. Simeons' specific very low calorie diet, it has been shown that patients can expect to lose 15-30 pounds per month along with several inches. What makes this diet fantastic it is very effective in targeting hard to reach fat stored in the abdomen, love handles, hips, and thighs.
